I volunteer at my own risk and accept all liabilities associated with volunteering

No insurance coverage , medical coverage, or legal liability for any accidents/illness/property damage/theft/legal issues is provided to me by SMSD

No compensation of any kind is provided to me for my volunteer services

I am not allowed to accept gifts or take any donated items for myself, friends, or family

I am required to read and comply with all policies and written documentation, including confidentiality agreements and codes of conduct (this information will be provided to you)

I understand that I can resign from, and SMSD may cancel my volunteer services at any time

Communication within the organization is primarily through text and phone calls

I will provide my own transportation to and from headquarters, fundraisers, distribution events, and charity activities

Volunteering tasks may include: associating with dogs and people from all walks of life, individual donors, and companies; receiving, cleaning, and organizing donated items; ensuring correct forms are filled out for donors and recipients; picking up donations and delivering them to headquarters; distributing flyers and information; administrative tasks

Responsibilities include: attending scheduled organization meetings, events, and activities; assisting with organizing, setting up, and tearing down fund-raising events and boxes for donations; delivering items to dogs of displaced people and homeless shelters; participating in the development of SMSD
